Rich was born and raised in Chicago and moved to Portland because he loves his wife. The offspring of the originator of the one-handed jumpshot, Rich always thought he would play in the NBA until someone recently told him he was slow and white. Prior to joining Media Cabin Rich freelanced for numerous ad agencies in New York, including a two-year stint at Vh1, and served as executive creative director for Burrell Communications in Chicago.

His most impressive accomplishments in life so far include playing against Michael Jordan, having sex and being able to whistle the theme from Sanford and Son really, really well.
